If there is something that I love are the pies, sweet or salty, they are awesome. The texture of the dough, brittle and sandy, provide an extra point tomy personal tastes within the kitchen. After experimenting with various recipes, I managed to create my own recipe, according to the texture I like and i will share it with you.
– 100gr of butter
– 1 cup of wheat flour
– 60gr of sugar (only if the preparation will be sweet)
– 1 egg yolk
– essences according to your preference (Vanilla, lemon zest, orange zest, etc.)
– 2 pinch of baking powder
The preparation is something simple, in a bowl place all the ingredients, that is, the butter, the flour, the sugar, the essences or spices and the yolk. With your hands integrate all the ingredients. The dough should not stick on your fingers and hands, if this happens, add a little more flour to avoid the though getting stuck in them.
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C and select the molds of your preference, cover your molds, prick the dough in each tartlet and bake until lightly browned.
Once baked, proceed to fill the cookie baskets. In this case I used pastry cream and chopped mango to decorate and agar to protect the fruit. If the dough is prepared salty, with a tuna antipasto or pepitonas are great or why not, chicken salad. Let your imagination fly and be encouraged to prepare this recipe.
